WALDO: The Trailer

Description: “WALDO: The Trailer” is a teaser trailer for a fake feature film based on
characters found in Where’s Waldo books created by Martin Handford. In the books, Waldo
blends in with his environments and it’s the reader’s goal to search for and find him. He wears a red and white striped shirt and hat and often hides in environments with the same color scheme. Our team adapted the characters of Waldo and Odlaw, the opposite of Waldo, into a spy thriller story where Odlaw is chasing down Waldo in order to take Waldo’s magic cane. “WALDO: The Trailer” aims to provide a look into the visual style and storyline of the film that does not, and probably will not, ever exist.

Technical: “WALDO: The Trailer” was filmed on a Canon EOS 90D and a DJI Mini 2 drone. A
Rode shotgun mic and Rode Video mic were used for capturing audio. For moving shots, a
Zhiyun Crane gimbal was used to produce more stable footage.
