My longest video ever, I'm going to take a SEGA Game Gear from eBay (July 2023), from uboxing, repair & doing a RetroSix CleanScreen screen mod upgrade.
Luke from RetroSix has a video about preping the Game Gear for this mod, you can watch that here • CleanScreen Game Gear Install Guide V... - It's not quite the way I did it, but I did take some advice from that.
Not everything about this mod went to plan, and I had to hand wire the mod (as opposed to using a wire free ribbing kit), so this video is not designed as a tutorial, this is just me going through everything I did to get this working. But if you are hand wiring this mod then it might be some help to you.
