Monday was an important day with Adams submitting his controversial confidential supplementary submission to the Senate Economics References Committee ASIC inquiry.

Adams has received confirmation from the Committee secretariat that the inquiry has been received as a confidential submission and it is now being considered by the inquiry committee.

It is important to note that in many countries around the world, citizens do not have the ability to speak the complete and ultimate truth about their country’s ruling elite. In this many instances, arrest, hard labour and execution are the norm.

As noted in the previous show, there can be major repercussions if someone either speaks out against the regime, exposes secrets or releases embarrassing material.

This doesn’t just include North Korea and Iran, but even in countries such as Thailand or Jordan, criticism of the Royal Family (especially the King) will lead to one’s automatic arrest. This has been a matter of routine over the past decade.
