Hello friends, Lamborghini is actively preparing for the premiere of the direct successor to the Huracan. It represents the most radical reinterpretation of its junior supercar since the appearance of the Gallardo in 2003.

Will the new model feature the usual V10 engine from Audi? No, we can expect the most radical change in this line. Let's discuss everything in order. The company is currently testing the new Lamborghini, as indicated by spy shots and videos. The external design of the new Lamborghini will be related to the flagship hybrid supercar presented earlier last year. It will incorporate a hexagonal exhaust, Y-shaped LED optics, and expressive air ducts throughout the body to enhance aerodynamics. These elements have become Lamborghini's signature features.

The overall body shape somewhat resembles the older brother Revuelto. However, to reduce costs, the younger model will likely use cheaper aluminum instead of expensive composites used in the build of the flagship supercar. The company plans to maintain rigidity while achieving a more affordable price level. The rear subframe in the Revuelto is already made of aluminum, and the younger model may also use this metal in the front to further reduce costs.

The new model will use a shortened version of the platform from the flagship Revuelto. The most significant changes will be found under the rear cover of the engine compartment. The transition to a monocoque design allows Lamborghini engineers to compactly place a new hybrid powertrain in the successor to the Huracan. This will be Lamborghini's third hybrid powertrain, following the Revuelto and the updated Urus.

The hybrid powertrain consists of a four-liter V8 engine with 2 turbochargers, working with an electric motor. Lamborghini has not provided official comments on this information, so it is unclear whether the same engine used in the hybrid Urus will be used in the successor to the Huracan or it will be brand the new engine. Regardless, Lamborghini engineers will make every effort to modify the engine's characteristics to deliver similar sensations to the flagship Revuelto's naturally aspirated V12 engine. The company aims to increase the peak rpm of the gasoline V8 and make it more emotional. Ofc it’s not that old school N/A V10 engine but still it’s better than ferrari’s new hybrid v6 engines
