Hello everyone! I'm back, armed with expensive old parts and not so careful handling of said parts! In this ThinkPad saga I am building what can be considered the ultimate Retro ThinkPad, a FrankenPad T601. This is a project that I have been excited about for a long time, and never thought I would be able to afford until a terrific deal popped up on eBay. In the first part of the Ultimate Retro ThinkPad saga we will be replacing the original 1024x768 TN display in my 15" ThinkPad T60 with a beautiful LED-backlit FlexView display.
