I love the 13th Warrior film, it has one foot in some real history and the other foot in complete fantasy. Along the way we get Vikings, a real life Arab ambassador, Tartars, cave men, duels, language lessons and some very memorable armour.... Definitely weird, occasionally great, but continuously fun, and yes, I really do love it.

Matt Easton is a HEMA fight instructor and Alexander Holloway teaches screen and stage combat, so between the three of us we have plenty to say, but do they love it as much as me?
