Poor Little Ritz Girl (1920) is the second virtual production by Where The Good Songs Go, a new web series.

Poor Little Ritz Girl was Rodgers and Hart's first Broadway Musical. Although, before making it to Broadway, half of Rodgers and Hart's score was tossed out and replaced with music by Sigmund Romberg and Alex Gerber. In this video, you will hear the show with all of Rodgers and Hart's available music restored for the first time in a century!

New videos will premiere live on YouTube every Thursday evening at 7:00PM EST from September 17th to October 29th.

If you are able, please donate to our campaign to help artists dealing with cancellations due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Proceeds will go to both the artists who have donated their time and talent to make this series a reality and to The Actor's Fund. Donations can be made via Venmo (@wherethegoodsongsgo) or PayPal ([email protected]).

The series will also feature virtual productions of Gershwin’s A Dangerous Maid, and Sissle and Blake’s Elsie. Check out our previous two videos exploring Jerome Kern's Nobody Home. All of these shows, which originally premiered from 1915-1923, have rarely been performed since and our productions will be the first compiled recordings available.
