Volkswagen ID.4 is another VW EV based on the new MEB platform. The MEB platform was designed with electric vehicles in mind. Volkswagen ID.4 is something between a station wagon, and an SUV. The batteries are in the floor between the axles, and in order to maintain good proportions, the ID.4 needs to be slightly taller, than an average state car. At the same time VW ID.4's ground clearance is not as high, as in the Passat Alltrack.
