Welcome back everyone for another urban stealth camping video. I have scouted this location out in a previous video when the grass was much shorter, and the area has changed a little since my previous scout (video linked below).

The weather was perfect to head out camping so I decided to grab my things and head out to a relatively safe and quiet spot to do my urban camping.
I had to park my vehicle in a different place as the initial spot had people sitting in cars and a new construction yard had a security vehicle guard in a car driving around.

When crossing the train line, I realized the security guard had probably seen me and carrying my large hiking pack thought he may have thought I was there to cause trouble. Obviously this wasn't the case however I moved into the field I was planning to camp in and sat down hidden behind a large bush.
After 15-20 minutes of sitting, I peeked my head out and the security guard was still there which was very strange. In the end I thought of it as him problem and continued to move on as I was eager to get my equipment setup and into the real camping.

On my walk to find my campsite I did some very unusual things that I still can't make much sense of. The first was a large husky breed of dog walking towards me which I caught on video. Too much of a sought after breed to be an abandoned or dumped dog but also no owners or people around so the dog just walked out of sight and I have no idea where it came from or went.
The second unusual thing I saw was a group of 4-5 kangaroos grazing and then hopping in the field. Not something I can say you normally see in an industrial area so close to the city of Melbourne.

I found a great spot hidden behind a raised mound of dirt and did my usual thing or having a beer and setting up my tent and camo tarp. I did a short walk to get a view from a distance and the camo tarp blended in extremely well with the dry grass in this location.

With the sun starting to set and a beautiful sunset on the way I decided to get started on dinner. This was another simple, easy meal which I've prepared before. I simply boiled up some water and cooked up some pasta before draining the water, adding some sauce and putting it on the heat again.
This was a great meal and I recommend it especially on the colder nights as those warm meals really make you feel great before sleep when it's cold.

Next up was heading to bed. I was a little concerned about the dog however I managed to pull off a better sleep then my previous camp due to the temperature not being so cold and bringing more layers.

This time heading back to the car was going to be much easier as the security guard was gone so I didn't have to avoid him but on the other hand I was going to get very wet shoes and pants as the long grass was covered in dew from the cold night. Always to be expected at this time of year so I should start to get used to this.

All in all another fun camp. Nothing too dangerous about this one but had some very strange things happen on it which made this one that little bit more interesting.
