Brian Patchett, assistant professor of physics at UVU, has explored his love of sound in a wide variety of places, from on the road with musicians to a breast cancer research group. Now, Professor Patchett is creating engaged learning opportunities for his students while conducting further research about the benefits of sound.

At UVU, professors teach by example and by hands-on learning. This allows graduates to enter the workforce with real-world experience and a better understanding of concepts within their fields of study.
