Leonardo DiCaprio has reflected on the impact of retelling the story of the 1920s Osage massacre and how it's so relevant today in shining a spotlight on systemic racism, during a press conference at the Cannes Film Festival. His co-star in the Martin Scorsese-directed film, Robert De Niro, said the film's cast became more acutely aware of problems still gripping America after George Floyd's death and compared his character to former U.S. president Donald Trump.
