This time on DawgStrip, we find ourselves in Japan, embarking on an exploration of the long-abandoned military fortifications of Tomogashima Island. Situated approximately 90 minutes from Osaka, with just a 20-minute ferry ride, you'll arrive at a stunning island steeped in a rich history. For us, the main attraction was the aged brick fort. Originally built in the late 1800s and continually expanded until the end of World War II, these brick walls have since fallen silent. They stand today as a poignant reminder of the past, enduring through the generations.
