Penn State head coach James Franklin and the Nittany Lions are closing in on the end of spring practice. With the Blue-White Game just over a week away, the team is rounding into the end of organized football until August.

James Franklin discusses the latest week of Penn Sate practice
On Tuesday evening, Franklin discussed his team's progress through the second half of spring football.

On Tuesday evening, Franklin discussed his team's transfer player, including former Georiga corner AJ Harris. Franklin has been impressed by his transition and thinks he brings versatility to the team.

"AJ, as you guys know, different point of his career, but he's come in and is super aggressive and super confident and playing really well right now. He's a physical physical corner. Actually think he has the ability to really play all five positions corner, nickel or safety and both seem to be picking it up really well."

Franklin also preached depth on the offensive line. Once again he’s hinted at an extended season and having the players ready to step up in case of attrition.

“Obviously the offensive line is a little bit different from a chemistry standpoint, it's really important those guys work together, but from a depth and from the length of season that we're talking about and preparing for you better you better do that. So, you know there's some guys that maybe the drop off is significant. We got to make sure by game five, it's not anymore by playing them.”
