Continuing Phase 4 of the MCU, Falcon & the Winter Soldier see Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan reprise their roles as Sam Wilson aka The Falcon and Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier as they navigate a world where Steve Rogers is no longer Captain America. Week after week the Falcon and the Winter Soldier has made attempts to address important sociopolitical issues only to do so halfheartedly which, in a series that prides itself on "taking a firm stance" on these issues, isn't great. Falcon and Winter soldier series had so much potential to do and say interesting things with their heroes but sadly, every time the opportunity presents itself, the new MCU show takes the easy way out.
