I'm back, this time in 4k with another storage related video, this time deep diving on NVMe and all the host cards that work with the Mac Pro.

/edit: Of course only a a week or two after making this video, users confirmed that ASM2812 chipset based cards will work in the Mac Pro. They are much cheaper multi-drive cards but much less desirable as they'll only operate at 4x speeds, meaning 1500 MB/s for both drives combined. See the Definitive Mac Pro Upgrade for details.

Edited in Final Cut Pro X, Motion, Compressor, Pixelmator Pro on a MacBook Air M1, recorded on iPhone 12 Pro. Voice-over recorded/mixed on a Sennheiser e935, Cubase Studio on Mac Pro. Part way through making this, my FocusRite Clarrett arrived so you may notice some portions may sound different. Background music composed by me.
