In my lifetime I’ve had literally 4 jobs that were not remote, and about 3 jobs that were remote; and the difference is day and night. Remote work is great because it not only frees you up from a location, but it can also save you a lot of money on gas, food, and everything else honestly

1. Sales with Fixed Salary + Commission
One big reason I always hated sales was because of going to door to door to talk to people who may not even be interested in the product and if you don’t sell that day, you go home with zero
But there are sales jobs that give you a list of prospects that they know are interested, give you a base salary plus a commission
And of course, you can work from home
My friend works for Optimum and here is some of the info
Get paid between 15-22 hours plus commissions (22k-42k)
Paid training
And potentially Tuition reimbursement
2. Customer Service ( Amazon )
Just yesterday I called in about being unhappy with a delivery
And they fixed it ASAP
However:
I've tried finding the average pay and its about $17 - $25 an hour
However these jobs according to folks go very fast
So when they are highly take advantage of it quickly
However, remember also:
Credit card companies
Tmobile
And a lot of jobs need help too
3. Data Entry ( I had this job in person and I felt like I had no reason to be at work )
Looking to make about $38,243 a year
I have to say this is one of the worst jobs in history
Because its just so much repetition
And I do think eventually ai will take it over
4. Video Editor + Word Editor
5. Medical Billing Representative
I had a friend that had this job
And she would take calls and help people sort out. Their questions with their insurance and providers and so on
6. Transcribing ( taking audio and putting it into text )
Medical transcriptionists make 36k-55k )
7. Virtual Assistant
Some examples:
University assistant: keeping records like graduations and financial aid reporting ( I did this but as a work-study in college ) $16-22 an hour – a lot of dead hours if I remember correctly
Assistant people in sales and people even in insurance
I would lock into stable jobs ( not trying to help individuals since they can easily replace you )
8. Tutor ( within-subjects or instruments )
This is where we get into jobs that can be on and off
So obviously do them at your own risk
9. Teaching a language
10. Travel agent
