The mysterious Ukrainian fighter pilot hailed as the “Ghost of Kyiv” has reportedly been killed in air combat. He was reportedly killed when the MiG-29 he was flying was shot down on March 13 while fighting “overwhelming” enemy forces. The fighter pilot is said to have shot down over 40 Russian aircraft during the war but there were doubts if he was real. As per a report in The Times, Ukrainian sources have confirmed the identity of the fighter pilot and his death.
