Volvo is a company known for safe, reliable, boxy cars. That reputation was solidified in the public’s mind with the Volvo 240. Built for the wild, winter conditions of Sweden, this was a car designed to keep on going, no matter what. And go on it did, with a 19-year production run, outliving its replacement, the Volvo 700 series.
