I couldn't leave it alone. I wound up making a version like Adam Savage's camera rig over @tested . Mine has a few tweaks that might be of interest to people and actually makes things easier for assembly in my opinion. I really do think people who work in a shop might find this useful. If you are someone who either needs to film, take pictures, or even just mount your phone somewhere for easy use, this could be beneficial to you. You wouldn't need a milling machine or elaborate tools. All that is needed for this assembly is a 3D printer and the hardware.
