In This Guitar Lesson we will Learn The Blues Scale Position 3 And 3 Great Blues Licks YOU can play Using each of the Blues Notes (b5) Found inside of Position 3 of The Blues Scale helping you to map out all the blues scale positions across the guitar fretboard.
The Blues Scale is Easy to learn on guitar especially if you have already learned the minor pentatonic scale in all 5 positions as all we need to do is add the blue note or b5 interval to the scale. Adding this Blue note to All 5 blues scale positions will give your guitar solos much more blues spice so in this lesson i will show you how to mix this blues note to position 3 of the minor pentatonic scale transforming this into the blues scale position 3 and to get you going extra fast I will teach you how to play some great sounding blues licks on the guitar with clear close-ups of the fretboard followed by examples of these blues licks played over a blues shuffle backing track - this is the blues scale explained!... enjoy!
