Watch me in this video restore a 1950's (from what I can tell) toy scooter. I found this scooter sitting along the road for free. I picked it up not knowing that I would restore it. As seen in the video, the tires were cracked, it was missing the hand grips, only one bolt was holding on the handle bars, and there was rust that needed to be removed (which made for an awesome restoration video). After tearing the scooter apart, I was barely able to fit it in the sandblaster. The red paint was an automotive paint and then cover with clear coat. I replaced the tires and rims with new and I also found new hand grips. I made the decals with a Cricut machine. (Do you know what "R&R Scooter" stands for?)I made tassels for the grips with ribbon.

This restoration was a bit challenging, but overall the scooter came out beautiful. Thanks so very much for watching!
