I had a natural miscarriage at home on July 4th 2020. I had originally been scheduled for a D&C, but when the baby came out before that, I was not at all prepared.
I was completely shocked and uneducated about what a miscarriage is really like. I felt misinformed by doctors, and that I wasn’t given enough information.
I decided to make this video after learning that this is common for so many women. There is so little that doctors actually tell you about miscarriage. They fail to mention the pain, the amount of blood, or the mental trauma that can come with it.
I made this video because I wish I had known better about what I was getting into. I want to help make miscarriage “less scary” by helping women prepare for what is about to come.
I really hope this helps someone out there.
You are not alone.
You are a beautiful mother. Always 💕
