There aren't many Buddhist or Confucianist shrines left in Korea--Especially authentic ones that aren't on the tourist map. I spotted this one entirely by accident as I was passing by in a taxi, and it was so colorful and interesting looking that I knew I had to go back and try to find it. What I found was unlike anything I had seen before in Korea. A hidden treasure lost to time, but well cared for by the local villagers.
