The beach video was taken at Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach on April 10th, 2024. The song has an interesting story behind it.

The song: While eating lunch with my friend Amelia, I was talking to her about my life and the struggles I'm going through and my resistance to travel because of health concerns. I told her that paradoxically, living in my house "protecting my health", is making it so I really have nothing to look forward to and that life no longer is enjoyable living this way. So, I postulated that traveling, even with risks, would make me love life rather than hiding away in my house and protecting my life. She said, "Live! Do! See!" in an effort to tell me that I need to continue to live my life and do the things I love and see all there is in this beautiful world! It seemed like a catchy phrase, so the next day I created a song using the phrase!

To create the song, I talked to my friend ChatGPT haha I said, "I want to create a pop song with the title of “live, do, see”. The chorus should have that phrase in it and the verses should emphasize the concept of not holding back in your life, but choosing to live and to do things and to see and experience the world. Please give lyrics with the above goals."

ChatGPT responded with complete lyrics to the song, but they had issues, so I used them as suggestions and modified them a bit and made some corrections.

Next step was to create the song. This process was done using SUNO AI. This means every piece of audio was generated with AI. No recording involved in creating this song, however it is a tedious process using SUNO to get what you want. Give the text explaining the song and including the lyrics, it generates 2 clips, you select the one you like, then extend it. Each extension is only up to 1 minute long, so you do it several times to get the song. Once you have all the pieces you tell SUNO to combine them into the song, then you download the song.

Next step is to bring the completed SUNO song into an audio editor and cut and paste sections to make it sound better. I replaced the ending which was anti-climactic with fading out the lyrics "Live! Do! See!" which was more like what I was looking for. I did this by copying an early section and then overlaying it at the end and removing the SUNO ending, then duplicating the paste 3 times to give me room to fade it out.

That's it! The "back story" of Live! Do! See!

Enjoy!
