It took the South Carolina Attorney General's Office 19 months to bring the assault and battery and misconduct in office cases against former Marlboro County Sheriff Charles Lemon and a former Deputy Andrew Cook to trial. But the AG's office still has other cases involving another Marlboro County official left unresolved more than two years later.
