I found it. I found the best neighborhood in Tacoma and it's not some apartment downtown. Yakima Hill has character. It has style. It has pizza joints in the middle of the neighborhood.Shout out Hank's Bar and Pizza. I know it's not New York City. It's not. It's Tacoma! So we'll take 1 pizza spot over 0. Not to mention lower Yakima Hill, as you get closer to Commencement Bay, not only has artisan craft, 100 year old homes, but they have yards. If you going crazy for home architecture, spend some time around Rust Mansion.

Yakima Hill is stuck in-between Stadium District and Old Town Tacoma and has a unique triangle street arrangement. The Annie Wright Schools are located in this area with a few recreation and sport parks around like, Tacoma Lawn Tennis Club and Tacoma Chinese Reconciliation Park to name a few.
