If you need to disconnect your washing machine but find that the washing machine valves don’t close completely, there is a solution.

you can use one of your old washing machine hoses to connect the HOT valve to the COLD valve and that will at least prevent the valves from leaking for the time being.

Then you can just shut the water back down when you get a new washing machine or you’re able to get a Plumber to your house.
