How do you make the full-sized luxury SUV Escalade even better? You put a supercharged 6.2L V8 making 682 horsepower under the hood and create the first ever Cadillac Escalade -V! The V treatment is more than just an increase in power and torque, the Escalade-V brings larger front brakes with 6 piston Brembo's, retuned Magnetic Ride 4.0 with standard air ride suspension, a dual mode exhaust that makes a previous generation CTS-V sound tame. This 3 ton luxury rocket has launch control, doing the 0-60 run in 4.4s and through the quarter mile in 12.7s at 110mph. One of my favorite parts of the V is the dual personality, in Tour mode it feels like a plus Escalade Platinum, relax with handsfree Super Cruise, enjoy massages seats and a 36 speaker AKG sound system. Then hit the V button, which drops the suspension by 20mm and sharpens all responses and the V turns into a monster. We had the awesome opportunity to try out the new 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V in Arizona last week, this SUV is seriously impressive, enjoy this review and check out my walkaround video on the channel too!
