Dying Light 2: Stay Human has been in development for a long while and went through a multitude of rewrites, design changes, and now it's finally here. Seven years after the launch of Dying Light 1, this sequel boasts RPG systems like story choice and consequence alongside evolutions of the parkour mechanics that popularized it. After 50+ hours with the game on Xbox Series X, I loved what I played. That said, every session became a challenge defined by "can the fun outweigh the technical issues?"
