It shouldn't be a question, but rather a statement. When should you update your estate plan? No, update your estate plan. Before you need a large amendment to your estate plan, you're better of reviewing and updating your estate plan when it needs changes. Whether you have inherited or purchased assets since your estate plan was made, or you didn't add some property into your revocable living trust. All of these are valid reasons for reviewing and updating your estate plan. So don't procrastinate and wait!
