It took me 5-6 hours to make this loadout work in this week's GM, solo. Even with this season's artifact, it felt like pulling teeth when running this GM with this loadout. In concept my aggressive playstyle should pair great with Point-Contact, an exotic centered around thunderclap, however, I discovered very quickly that health and survivability was an issue. Striker's on source of healing is Knockout which starts health and shield recovery. Unfortunately, that health regen works like normal recovery so getting damaged stops health regen. Additionally, it doesn't stack with Recovery since Knockout is literally resetting Recovery's delay timers. I wouldn't have finished without Spark of Amplitude and Recuperation keeping me healthy. I run this combo in almost every Arc build to make them more survivable and viable (except Assassin's Cowl Hunter). To survive fatal damage I need a glaive to protect me, which prevents me from using my thunderclap, the ability I centered the build around lol.

I was hoping the lightning strikes from Point-Contact would count as melee damage so it could proc Hands-On, Heavy Handed, and Impact Induction but it doesn't. Personally, I think Bungie should allow Point-Contact's lightning strike to count as melee damage, making it work better with melee centered mods and fragments.
