The Solheim Cup 2023 had everything you could want from a team golf event: drama, comebacks, incredible shots and a huge amount of passion from both sides.

It also had a challenging course in immaculate condition, thanks to Superintendent Ignacio, his team of turf professionals and 40 volunteer greenkeepers who were supported by Syngenta.

Hailing from all over Europe, including Bernardus Golf, the Solheim Cup’s next European host venue, in 2026, the volunteers travelled to Finca Cortesin seeking to further their knowledge and gain experience being part of a world-class golf event.

Syngenta’s role as a ‘Proud Supporter’ of the Solheim Cup 2023 is part of a long-term commitment to the golf and turf industry and follows many similar initiatives such as the U.S. Women’s Open, where it supported the Women in Turf team.
