The last few days of the build!
*I am not a pro in any way being that this is my first Brick Oven build. There will def be improvements on the second build.

I insulated the firebrick dome with Ceramic Fiber Blanket.
Covered that with 3 layer stucco. ( 1st layer was a mixed "home brew" )
Made a MISTAKE and Cured the oven to soon, and too quickly.
Never heated it above 400 degrees on first cure, but it was enough to see the tiny cracks form around the dome.
My best guessed Fix - fireplace mortar over cracks
I also installed a breather cap to help with steam and pressure at top of the outer dome. ( Thank you Gulf, if you ever see this )
The hearth is Soapstone. This stone does well with fluctuating heat.
The Flu will be extended next summer. It is too cold to mortar currently.
Will post update.
If you have any questions, please ask them and I will do my best to answer them
I learned to do this all myself and it worked out so well, even with a few mistakes.
I encourage you all to do the same!
Build something that you can literally hand down for generations!
