In this video we hike the waterfall trail at Ferne Clyffe state park near Goreville Illinois. This short one mile trail offers more scenery in one mile than many trail in southern Illinois do in ten miles. Parking at the camp grounds and traversing our way down you’ll get a close up view of the rock formations as well. We did not have time to find the parking lot at the bottom and the signage showing the way is not great, but if you’re able to access it you’ll find the trail kid friendly and a much easier hike. Contrary to what I’ve been reading by another YouTuber asking for money due to high fees, this does not cost you a penny! Get out and see this amazing place.
