Sara Alfageeh and Thariq Shihipar, the cofounders of Multiverse (S20), share their story of building a game startup with a non-tradional background in design and entertainment. The co-founders of Multiverse are people of color, and they created the company in part to allow game masters to create RPGs that featured characters like themselves.

Sara Alfageeh is a Jordanian-American illustrator and creative director in Boston. She is passionate about history, teaching, girls with swords, and the spaces where art and identity intersect. She is currently co-founder of One More Multiverse.

Thariq is the CEO of Multiverse, and a former engineer from MIT/MIT Media Labs. He's previously founder edgeout.gg, pubpub.org and @ChimeApp.
