It's the end of an era. After more than a decade on Teen Mom 2, star Kaylyn Lowry left the show. During the reunion show that aired on May 24, 2022, she told co-hosts Dr. Drew Pinsky and Nessa that she's made the decision to move on after 11 years. This isn't the first time Kailyn has mentioned wanting to leave Teen Mom 2. Over the years, she has spoken about it more than once. While it's not a complete shock that she's leaving the show, she will be sorely missed. There are a couple reasons why Kail left the show. Her reasons being that the show has run its course and it’s just time for her to move on. She wants to focus on her family and new boyfriend. There are rumors, however, that she got fired because of her poor attitude towards producers. The ongoing feud between Lowry and castmate Briana Dejesus is rumored to be a contributing factor for her decision to leave. Her complicated relationship with ex Chris Jones who she shares 2 sons with is also cited as a reason for her departure, especially since he recently got cast on the show. And when it comes down to it, money is a driving factor for a lot of people, and that is one thing Kailyn says isn’t enough to keep her on the show, claiming she makes more money with her podcasts.
