What is Subsidence?
When a property sinks unevenly into the ground due to unstable foundations.

What Causes It?
There are a number of causes, everything from dry clay soil to leaking drains.

Signs
Cracks are the most obvious sign - but not all of these mean you have subsidence so don't jump to conclusions. Diagonal cracks are ones to watch.
