Nirmal Purja is a Nepalese mountaineer, former Gurkha and a soldier of the Special Boat Service, an elite special forces unit of the Royal Navy of the United Kingdom. He is known for climbing all fourteen eight-thousanders in a record time of 6 months and 6 days in 2019.
