Following Jesus doesn't mean that we get smooth sailing everyday, the disciples learn that in a very real way today as they get stuck in the middle of the lake in a raging sea. But what does the Gospel always tell us? Do not be afraid. God made the wind and the waves and God can calm them down with just a word. Every time we see a storm, it's an opportunity to remember that God is bigger than this.
