Watching Tweetsie Railroad's steam locomotive no. 190 pulling the traditional "Wild West Train" followed almost immediately by no. 12 arriving with the special mixed train. For the special weekend, no. 190 was given a throwback appearance to her early days at Tweetsie between the early 1960's to the late 1970's and was featured in the weekend's photo runbys. Proceeds from the tickets of the special mixed train go to organizations such as the Southeastern Narrow Gauge & Shortline Museum and the ET&WNC Historical Society for their various ET&WNC Railroad preservation and restoration projects. Noted musician James Glenn played familiar railroad songs on the banjo for passengers riding historic Coach 5 on the mixed train as well. Video taken Saturday, August 26th, 2023.
