FAMSfare For the Common 8th Grader

THE STORY:
I needed one more 8th-grade piece for our spring band concert. It had to be on the short side, and I wanted a concert-opening fanfare. I cranked this out and, well, I kinda Rick Rolled myself - meaning it came unexpectedly to me as a composer.

THE TITLE:
Fort Atkinson Middle School = FAMS = FAMSfare instead of fanfare. A play on Aaron Coopland's Fanfare For the Common Man (which, incidentally, this sounds nothing like).
