Is BYD going to be dumping cheap EVs on the USA in the future?
Well, according to how they're entering other markets worldwide, the answer is a tenative "No". Today I'll compare BYD product prices in Hong Kong, Australia, and Germany and find they enter markets at market-competitive prices.
I also look at very briefly the history of Chinese NEV subsidies, which compare favoribly with what the USA is doing now, and the fact most of those subsidies are ended or on their way to be phased out.
