For Valentine's day this year, I used our Shapeoko to machine a 3D heart out of aluminum as a gift for Laura.

Using 1" thick 6061 aluminum, we generated toolpaths with Fusion 360 around an STL file we downloaded from thingiverse.

This was our first CNC project and an overall failure, but we learned so much throughout the entire process.
