In this episode, Drs. Corey Olsen and Maggie Parke breakdown episode 3, Adar, of Prime Video’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Join Corey and Maggie as they highlight some of the themes of the show, discuss Tolkien’s lore and its consideration in this adaptation. You can view it all at once, or see the separate chapters for subject specific content.

Corey opens with a discussion on Adar, Light & Darkness, Death & Mortality, Healing, Friendship, and Fate. He also gives a deeper discussion on Earendil, Sauron’s Plans, and The Powers: Valar in Numenor.
