The Serpent that Devours the Horizon (or "Serpent Eating the Ground" as it's also been called) has consistently had a presence on the GaMetal Song Ballots over the years, placing in the top 10 most years.

I had been considering a few different songs to close the year out with, but upon listening to my first draft of this, I couldn't get over how perfect it felt as a closing song.

That and you know, time constraints. 😅
