Root of Nightmares Raid - All Nezarec, Final God of Pain Dialogue | Destiny 2 Lightfall

This is all dialogue from Nezarec, Final God of Pain, the final boss from the new Root of Nightmares raid.
Nezarec has been hinted at a few times over the years, being first teased back in 2017 with the launch of Destiny 2 in the form of the "Nezarec's Sin" exotic Warlock helmet. Now, 6 years later, we finally confront him as a former Disciple of the Witness. We obtained his glaive during Season of the Haunted, gifted to him by Rhulk, and then we secured the remains of his body during Season of the Plunder. Nezarec would be found responsible for leading the charge against the Traveler during the first Collapse where he would be struck down by Savathun and both him and his pyramid would rest below the surface of our Moon, where Nightmares would manifest by his Pyramid. These Nightmares made from his Pyramid were manifestations of our deepest regrets and fears. Some of Nezarec's remains were in the Witness' possession on its command pyramid. When the Traveler terraformed the Pyramid during the Lightfall opening cutscene, Nezarec's remains would be touched by the Traveler and he would be brought back to life, which is why we find him in the raid. Nezarec is the dream demon, and the final god of pain.
