We're excited to be stocking the Nano Surface Primer compounds from Dr. Beasley's. This is an excellent polish line that we have tested here in the shop and to date have had great results coating without a panel wipe.

What are Nano Surface Primers?

Nano Surface Primers Dr. Beasley's new polish and compound tech that utilizes highly refined abrasives for a consistent cut and nano-gel instead of oils as a lubricant. In our tests, we found NSP's to work quite well, providing the necessary cut, and finishing with ease.

How does it work?

Nano-gel:
Instead of using oils as a lubricant like other compounds and polishes, Dr. Beasley's utilizes their proprietary "nano-gel" tech which contains zero oil of any kind and therefore allows the ceramic coating to bond to the painted surface without the need for a panel wipe. On extremely soft paints this is essential as a panel wipe can easily scratch the surface of super soft paints!

Microsphere Abrasives:

Abrasives are the particles in polishes and compounds that "remove the swirls and scratches" by "cutting" the paint.

Microsphere abrasives are a highly refined spherical abrasive particle with excellent cutting and finishing ability due to the unlimited yet consistent facets of each spherical abrasive. They are carefully controlled in size to the micron level to achieve a precise cut which minimizes the amount of clear coat removed and maximizes gloss. Each NSP features a different size of microsphere to achieve a different level of cut:
