It is no secret - there has been an unprecedented proliferation of cannabis retailers opening up all over Costa Mesa. If it seems like every time a vacant building becomes available, a pot shop moves in, you are not imagining it. The financial incentives experienced by land owners to welcome these all-cash businesses is overwhelming.

This video focuses on what is fast becoming the center of the Cannabis businesses in Costa Mesa along the city’s main artery known as Newport Blvd. Currently, there is a proposal to locate four Cannabis shops next to each other, thereby creating what some say will become Orange County’s Cannabis Row. As a result, local residents hired attorney Alexander Haberbush to help them fight their war against the city and to protect their homes and lifestyles.

The pending and approved locations are at 1848, 1854, 1858 and 1860 Newport Blvd.

*CALL TO ACTION*

Please attend tonight’s Feb 6, 2024, City Council meeting at 6:00 pm. If the City gets it way, Newport Blvd. may become known as Orange County’s Cannabis Row. Show up and show your opposition. Tell the Mayor and Council we want to be known as the “City of the Arts”, not the “City of Marijuana”.

City Hall is located at: 77 Fair Dr., Costa Mesa.
