This video closely follows "Kappou Chikazen", a long-established suppon(soft-shelled turtle) restaurant in Kyoto, Japan, within walking distance of Fushimi Inari.

In Japan, suppon(soft-shelled turtle) is famous as a luxury food and as a food that increases energy, but Chikazen offers a full course of traditional and live suppon dishes (8,800 yen including tax with appetizers) at a very reasonable price, including freshly sliced suppon sashimi (including live liver), live blood, grilled suppon, fried suppon, nabe, and porridge, which has been handed down since ancient times in Japan.

The scene of the suppon being processed was intense, but as we watched the life of the suppon being transformed into food before our eyes, we were able to enjoy the tasty flavor of the suppon to our hearts' content.
