What a noise the V16 Auto Union Type C made up the #FOS hill. That might be half down to the driver being none other than Mr Le Mans himself - Tom Kristensen. A 6.0-litre V16 in this sized chassis was always going to be a handful!

If the four rings badge looks familiar, that's because Auto Union was comprised of four manufacturers - DKW, Horch, Wanderer and Audi. The Auto Union Type C won the 1936 Grand Prix season at the hands of one Bernd Rosemeyer.
